NS Train #980 High & Wide Special with a very rare load
Title:  NS Train #980 High & Wide Special with a very rare load
Description:  While listening to the scanner, I heard the other crews say "Well I guess ya'll look good"! So I went up to the tracks to see what they were talking about. What a rare catch! The NS 5531 placed on the death track in Chattanooga for nearly 3 years. It was in a grade crossing accident with a gasoline tanker truck near New Orleans. It was moved on Sat. 6/7/2008 to Atlanta on High & Wide Train #NS 055. It is now on #NS 980 heading to NS Juniata Locomotive Shop for rebuild.
